Shipping Policy

Samples are $7 each. Due to color variation in stone and glass products you are encouraged to purchase samples. No additional shipping will be charged. Price will be reflected at checkout. Samples are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. All sales on samples are final.

Free shipping on Glass orders over $249 unless otherwise noted in product description.

  • Stone tiles and stone mosaics excluded from free shipping unless order is over $2,500. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
  • Additional fees will apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all International orders including Canada. Call for a quote.
  • Shipments to Canada may be subject to additional duties and charges collected by freight company on the countries behalf at time of delivery. Designerstoneoutlet.com is not responsible for collection or reimbursement of these charges.

Shipping Times & Guidelines

Your should receive your order in 7 to 10 business days from date of order. Designer Stone Outlet uses USPS, UPS, FED Ex or a Common carrier depending on quantity and weight of order. You will be sent an e-mail conformation of your order as well as a tracking number. For larger orders we may have to contact you to make final shipping arrangements so no extra charges are incurred.

All merchandise is the customer's responsibility once shipped from our warehouse. If an issue arises during shipment, please contact the shipper.

If order is sent via trucking company then curbside delivery will be provided and someone has to be there to receive and inspect product. All orders must be inspected upon receipt for any possible damages or shortages. If there is a shortage or damaged product, make a note of it on the driver’s Bill of Lading. It is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim for lost or damaged shipments with the trucking company. If whoever is accepting the shipment does not note any visible damage or missing items on the driver’s bill of Lading, or if the customer does not allow the damaged or missing items to be inspected by the freight company for any reason, you will be unable to file a claim against the carrier. Do not use or throw away any damaged items since damaged goods become the property of the freight company. All broken merchandise must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of product. Please inspect the packaging and content upon receipt of package; Designer Stone Outlet is not responsible for damaged goods reported past 24 hours of receipt of product.

Curbside Delivery

For larger deliveries where freight companies are being used, someone must physically be at the location to receive the goods. For residential deliveries it is the customer’s responsibility to bring the product inside the home. We do use lift gate service on orders over 100 square feet and if a garage is accessible, trucking companies will usually try to but product there.

Lift Gate Service

For orders that are less than 200 square feet and are shipped using a freight carrier no lift gate service is provided. If you would like lift gate service on these orders let us know in the comment section at check out and we will contact you to collect the lift gate fee. Lift gate fee is $75. Orders over 200 square feet will be shipped with lift gate service at no additional charge. For stone mosaic and large format tile orders you have the option to request a lift gate. If you request no lift gate then you will be responsible for hand unloading truck.

Chicagoland or nearby residents: If you live in the Chicagoland area or within driving distance call for pick up pricing discount.

Large order and Container Pricing: Designer Stone Outlet imports and stocks our products in the Chicagoland area. Being the importer of the products gives us tremendous latitude in pricing. Please contact one of our Design experts for more information about volume discounts.

Products landed to your site for as low as $3.00 a square foot. Container pricing available, please contact one of our design experts for more information on container pricing.



Return Policy

Granite, marble, limestone, travertine, onyx, slate, quartzite, glass and any other items Designer Stone Outlet may sell are products of nature or are hand made. Variation in color, shade, veining and overall look is normal and is to be expected. Please inspect all product prior to installation. Installation will infer acceptance of the material. Absolutely no claims will be accepted after installation.

Please contact Designer Stone Outlet to receive authorization to make returns. No returns will be accepted after 7 days of receipt of merchandise and must be in resalable condition. Resalable means all materials must be in there original, unopened packaging. No exceptions. *There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned orders, unless damaged due to shipping, and client incurs all return shipping charges. Credit will be credited back to original credit card minus the 25% restocking fee and the original shipping charges.

Missing or Damaged goods

All orders are inspected prior to shipment. If merchandise arrives damaged or is missing begin claim process as described above.
